Lease End Options at Nissan of Canton

2018 Nissan Pathfinder - Nissan of Canton

After a great couple of years with your Nissan, your lease has come to an end. Now what? There are three options: get a new Nissan, keep your Nissan, or return your Nissan (but, who would want to do that?). Which option you choose depends on your lifestyle and financial situation.

What do I do when my lease is up

Don’t worry – Nissan won’t leave you hanging. At the end of your lease, Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC) will be in touch. They will send out a letter outlining your options, as well as a wear-and-use guidebook. Of course, Nissan of Canton would be happy to answer any questions you have regarding end of lease.

Get a new Nissan

Have you been scouting for a shiny new Nissan? Now’s the time to put one in your driveway. Nissan of Canton has a large lineup of new vehicles for sale or lease.

The Nissan Owner Loyalty Program can also help you score big. Should you decide to get a new Nissan, the program will waive up to $500 off wear and use charges on your current lease. This offer is good from 120 days prior or 30 days after the determination of lease.

Before it can be swapped out for a new model, an inspection of your current Nissan must be completed. To do this, contact Alliance Inspection Management Center (AIM) for an appointment or contact your Nissan dealership. An inspector will perform a complimentary, but required, evaluation of your vehicle. If damage or excess wear to your vehicle is found, you have the option of fixing it prior to return. Or, the appropriate wear and use charges will be applied.

Keep your Nissan

If you’ve had encounters with curbs, posts and parked vehicles during your lease, you may want to keep your Nissan. This is because the wear and use charges will be heavy. If you decide to purchase your Nissan, you also get to avoid excess mileage tolls. Basically, you won’t be responsible for any costs other than the predetermined purchase. Also, any price incidental charges stated in your Nissan lease contract or required by law. Best of all, you get to keep your four-wheeled friend.

Return you Nissan

It’s unclear as to why you’d want to do such a thing. Unless of course, you’re moving out of the country, or relinquishing your belongings to join a band of gypsies. But should you decide – for whatever reason – to return your Nissan, we’ll make it as painless as possible.

Before your return date, contact Nissan Lease Customer service to schedule a complimentary inspection. An inspector will be dispatched to evaluate your vehicle. Once the inspection is complete, a report will be provided to you. One copy is yours to keep and the other should be left in the vehicle.

Then, you can schedule an appointment to return your vehicle at Nissan of Canton. To learn more about this, you can check out the Wear and Use Guide on Nissan’s website.

Owning or leasing a Nissan is one of the best experiences you can have. If you’d like to learn more, come down to Nissan of Canton. We have a friendly sales staff ready help.
